Welcome to the Alexander Doniphan Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), website. Our chapter was formed on March 6, 1909, named for Colonel Alexander William Doniphan, Missouri orator, jurist, statesman, soldier, and Christian gentleman. Today our chapter still values the objectives of the NSDAR founding Daughters set in 1890; historic preservation, the education of our youth, and patriotism.
